SPAA

The Scottish Passenger Agents' Association have maintained an active web presence since 2000.  Changes in how users choose to receive and manage information along with the influence of social media led the SPAA to commission a refresh of their official website.

What we did

An initial scoping meeting identified the project deliverables which included:

  • Design a fresh, modern layout that is responsive to the device being used to view the website
  • Allow the website content manager to create/update/delete Member and Associate entries with no outside dependencies
  • Encourage user interaction via contact forms, mailing list and social media
  • Deliver the completed project in time to be officially unveiled at the 2013 AGM

Services Provided

  • MODX® development
  • Website design
  • UK cloud hosting + email
  • Support on demand

Client Comments

We have been delighted with the work that Chris has done not only in the original creation of our website but also in the recent upgrade and reskin of the site. He was quick to recognise our needs and to facilitate our thoughts to create a really excellent site whilst adding his own thoughts and guiding us through any issues.

Janice Hogarth, SPAA Secretary

Particularly valuable in this project was Chris Dempsey's evident grasp of social media evolution, and how the SPAA could maximise engagement amongst members using social media platforms.
